Spencer Pratt concedes LA election with dire warning: ‘You have no idea how bad things are about to get’

Spencer Pratt has officially ended his mayoral primary bid in Los Angeles, but his exit video made one thing clear: he isn't going anywhere. In a three-minute clip released Friday, Pratt pivoted from a standard concession speech into a combative warning for the city's political establishment.

A Hostile Exit

Pratt did not hold back, branding opponents Mayor Karen Bass and Council member Nithya Raman as “corrupt communists” and “commie animals.” He told voters they were essentially tasked to “pick your demon,” warning that the city is poised to spiral further into the abyss under either candidate.

“The city is a mess, and you’re about to reward the arsonists who torched the place with four more years of destruction,” Pratt declared. He claimed his run was never about traditional power, but rather an attempt to expose what he described as a “corrupt machine.”

The Battle Ahead

Despite securing 26% of the vote—falling behind Raman’s 29% and Bass’s 34%—Pratt insists his fight is far from over. He vowed to use his national platform to target his former opponents, claiming he is now liberated from campaign regulations. “I don’t have campaign laws hamstringing me now. It’s war,” he said, teasing the existence of recordings that could force a resignation.

Pratt’s campaign, which focused heavily on the city's struggles with homelessness and the handling of the Palisades fire, ultimately faced a steep uphill climb. Data from a late May poll conducted by the University of California, Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies and the Los Angeles Times indicated that 57% of likely voters viewed Pratt unfavorably, matching the unfavorable rating of Mayor Bass.

Looking Forward

As for his future, the failed candidate suggested he is prepared to be even more aggressive without the filter of a political campaign, suggesting he no longer worries about “offending CNN viewers.” He closed the video with a stark image reading “WAR,” warning both Bass and Raman to keep looking over their shoulders.

Neither the Bass nor Raman campaigns, nor Pratt’s team, have responded to requests for comment regarding the latest claims.
