Teen dies days after shooting in Montgomery neighborhood; juvenile charged

A tragic update in a Montgomery neighborhood shooting: 19-year-old Jaquan Tennille has died from injuries sustained earlier this week. Following his passing, authorities have moved to charge another teenager in connection with his death.
Investigation and Charges
Montgomery police Lt. Tina McGriff confirmed that a juvenile suspect is now facing two counts of capital murder. Due to the suspect's age, their identity is being withheld from the public.
The incident originated on Monday at approximately 1:31 p.m., when Montgomery police and fire medics were dispatched to a report of a person shot in the 3900 block of Dalraida Place. Upon arrival, first responders discovered Tennille suffering from a gunshot wound. Investigators determined that Tennille had been inside a vehicle when the shooting occurred, which subsequently caused the vehicle to strike a nearby home.
Ongoing Developments
