Tuberville slammed for hypocrisy after falsely claiming Democrat ‘just went through a divorce’

The False Claim Against Chris Murphy
While appearing on "The Faulkner Focus" this past Monday, Tuberville criticized Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., for his support of Graham Platner’s Senate campaign in Maine. During the exchange with host Harris Faulkner, Tuberville incorrectly stated that Murphy "just went through a divorce." In reality, Murphy is separated from his wife, Cathy Holohan, a situation he has described as amicable.
The conversation shifted to the support other Democrats have shown for Platner, who is currently navigating a sexting scandal. Tuberville used the opportunity to paint the opposition in a negative light, implying a moral failing on Murphy's part.
Accusations of Hypocrisy
