$7 million plus med-spa center coming to Homewood by 2027
The facility will house Vitalogy Wellness Center & Med-Spa, an existing practice that emphasizes holistic and patient-centered care.
Homewood is set to get a significant wellness upgrade. A local development team has officially kicked off construction on a new three-story medical facility that aims to expand healthcare and wellness services for the community.
A New Hub for Health and Beauty
Located at 2714 20th Street South, the new building will replace the current Metcalf Realty site. The development is set to become the permanent home for Vitalogy Wellness Center & Med-Spa, a practice known for its focus on patient-centered, holistic care. Beyond housing Vitalogy, the facility is designed to offer additional professional space for other medical tenants.
Development Details
This project is a massive undertaking, valued at over $7 million. Birmingham’s own Pylon Building Group is leading the construction efforts alongside developers Crescent Real Estate Holdings LLC.
According to Vitalogy doctor Farah Sultan, the practice was born from a vision to create a destination for elevated health, longevity, and beauty, as shared with ABC 33/40. Reggie Torbor, CEO and president of Pylon Building Group, added that the project was designed to address a growing demand for these types of services within the area.
Looking Ahead to 2027
Residents can look forward to the completed facility in the first quarter of 2027. While construction is currently underway, requests for further comment from Sultan and Torbor were not immediately returned to 205focus.com reporters.
