Jackson Koivun continues to cement his status as an all-time great on the collegiate links.
Elite Company
On Tuesday, the Auburn standout secured his second career Fred Haskins Award. Since its inception in 1971, the honor has been awarded annually to the top college golfer in the nation. With this latest accolade, Koivun joins an exclusive fraternity that includes Ben Crenshaw, Bobby Clampett, and Phil Mickelson as one of just four players to claim the award twice.
This recognition adds to an already trophy-laden season for Koivun, who previously secured the Ben Hogan Award. The Tigers' star previously earned his first Fred Haskins Award during his freshman campaign, a season that culminated in an Auburn national championship.
Chasing Another Title
Koivun and the Tigers remain in the thick of the hunt for more hardware. After advancing to the semifinals of match play at the 2026 national championship, Auburn is aiming for its second national title in just three seasons.
Koivun’s dominance this year has been relentless, highlighted by six individual victories and a record-setting third SEC Player of the Year selection earlier this month.
Beyond his collegiate success, Koivun has made his mark on the international stage. He represented Team USA at both the 2025 Arnold Palmer Cup and the Walker Cup, playing a pivotal role in the U.S. victory over Great Britain and Ireland to secure a fifth consecutive title.
