Birmingham’s Summit shopping center has 4 new tenants coming

The Summit is keeping its retail momentum alive. The popular Birmingham shopping hub officially announced four new tenants joining the lineup over the coming months, adding a mix of fresh dining and unique fashion concepts to the center.

New Dining and Retail Arrivals

Alabama-based gourmet popsicle company Sons Pops is officially open for business. You can find them serving up handcrafted treats daily on the overlook situated between Chuy’s and Abercrombie & Fitch. Joining the food scene this winter is Choolaah Indian BBQ. This fast-casual brand, known for its locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania, brings a diverse menu featuring bowls, wraps, street food, and craft beverages with plenty of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options.

Fashion enthusiasts also have plenty to look forward to. Rancher Hat Bar, a Scottsdale-based brand, opened its first Alabama location earlier this month. The shop, located near the recently opened Vuori, offers a customizable hat experience complete with professional styling and branding. Additionally, the global lifestyle brand LoveShackFancy is slated to open its first Alabama outpost this summer, occupying roughly 2,000 square feet near Madewell.

A Busy Year at The Summit

These new additions follow a string of updates at The Summit throughout 2026. BeautySpace, which specializes in high-performance skincare and fragrance, is now operational inside Belk. Meanwhile, excitement continues to build for summer arrivals including Aritzia and PopUp Bagel, along with a planned relocation for LOFT.

Carver Boynton-Pearson, director of property management for The Summit, notes that this leasing activity underscores the center's enduring appeal. With the property approaching its 30-year anniversary next year, the influx of national brands remains a key driver for Birmingham’s economic evolution.
