Indian street food restaurant opening this week in Birmingham
The chain has locations in California, Georgia, Texas, North Carolina and Tennessee.
Birmingham's dining scene is set for a flavor-packed arrival. Curry Up Now, a popular Indian street food franchise already established across six states, is officially bringing its first Alabama location to the Magic City.
Mark Your Calendars
Food lovers can get their fix when the restaurant opens its doors at 425 20th St. S. on June 17. The brand, which originated in San Francisco, traces its roots back to 2009 when a husband and wife team first launched the concept as a food truck.
A Growing Presence
This expansion brings the chain to its seventh state, joining existing locations in California, Georgia, Texas, North Carolina, and Tennessee. According to the company, this is just the beginning for the region, as there are aspirations to open as many as three total locations in the Birmingham area.
On the Menu
Curry Up Now is known for its fast-casual, innovative take on Indian cuisine. The upcoming menu is slated to feature a variety of unique offerings, including Indian-style burritos, rice bowls, Kathi rolls, and their signature Naughty Naan Indian pizza. Guests can also expect approachable staples like wings and chicken tenders.
