Local firm gets $18 million fuel contract for military installation in Alabama
The business is designated a small business by the Pentagon.
A Daleville-based business has secured a significant boost to its operations through a new federal contract. According to a notice from the Pentagon released this week, the U.S. Army has awarded B3 Enterprises LLC an $18 million contract to provide essential fuel services to the Fort Rucker military installation.
Contract Details and Local Impact
B3 Enterprises LLC, which is designated as a small business by the Defense Department, is located in Daleville, the town that adjoins the installation. This new deal serves as an extension of a previous agreement. Of the $18 million total, the company is set to receive an immediate infusion of $6 million, sourced from the Army’s fiscal year 2026 operations and maintenance funds.
The contract was awarded by the U.S. Army Field Directorate Office out of Fort Eustis, Virginia. The work is scheduled to continue through an estimated completion date of June 26, 2028.
Fort Rucker serves as the prestigious headquarters for U.S. Army Aviation and encompasses approximately 63,000 acres of southeast Alabama.
Broader Military Procurement
This award comes during a busy week for military contracting. In a separate contract announcement from earlier this week, another small business, Bodwe-KVG JV LLC of Dowagiac, Michigan, was awarded $36 million to supply ready-to-eat meals to the U.S. Army. That project is being managed by the U.S. Property and Fiscal Office for the District of Columbia and carries an estimated completion date of December 31.
