Popular ’80s, ‘90s groups latest to drop out of Trump’s Great American State Fair
The Great American State Fair is organized by Trump's nonprofit Freedom 250.
The roster for Donald Trump’s upcoming Great American State Fair continues to face volatility as additional acts announce they will not be participating in the 16-day event.
Rising Tension in the Lineup
The withdrawals follow recent news that Young MC and Morris Day have already stepped away from the stage. Adding to the shake-up, Jodie Rocco of Milli Vanilli clarified that neither she, her sister Linda, nor any group members were ever booked for the event. She expressed shock at seeing their name on the promotional materials.
C+C Music Factory frontman Freedom Williams also confirmed his departure via social media. In an Instagram video, Williams stated that he was not informed of the event's connection to Trump during the booking process. Upon learning the details, Williams noted that he moved to cancel his appearance, stating, “I don’t (support) Trump.”
