Talk show host ends 4-year run: ‘Bittersweet’

Daytime television is saying goodbye to a familiar face. After a dynamic four-year run on Fox, host Sherri Shepherd has officially signed off from her namesake talk show, Sherri. As reported by People, the 59-year-old entertainer described the conclusion of the series as a bittersweet milestone while teasing that she has plenty more in store for her audience.

A Heartfelt Farewell

Shepherd reached out to her dedicated fan base via Instagram to express her gratitude. "Family!!! Thank you so much for all the love and support over these last 4 years," she wrote. "It was a bittersweet end to a life I got to know so well. But here is to new beginnings…if you thought you were sick of me before just you wait."

To mark the occasion, Shepherd shared a video compilation featuring poignant moments from the show interspersed with footage of her walking through the empty studio one final time. The tribute closed with a simple, personal message: "Thank you. XO Sherri."

Looking Ahead

The program was officially canceled in February, with producers citing the evolving television landscape as the primary factor behind the decision. Despite the show's conclusion, Shepherd—a household name famously known for her long-standing tenure on The View from 2007-2014 and her return in 2015, as well as her time guest-hosting The Wendy Williams Show—shows no signs of slowing down.

Fans can look forward to her next chapter in the literary world, as her fiction book, Life Is a K Drama, is scheduled for release in April 2027.
