In a candid post shared to her Instagram Story, Waddingham didn't mince words regarding the speculation. According to reporting from Entertainment Tonight, the actress made it clear that the narrative of a falling out was entirely fabricated.
“For the first time ever I am finding it necessary to silence the utter bollocks being written about a ‘rift’ between me and my beloved, long-standing friend and acting partner Jason Sudeikis,” Waddingham wrote. “Ridiculous, clickbait buuuuuulllls---! Is it a quiet news day or something?! Get a life!!!”
Returning to AFC Richmond
Fans looking for more AFC Richmond action can mark their calendars: the cast is officially returning for a new season of the hit Apple TV series on Aug. 5. Teasing the upcoming installment, Waddingham promised, “Season 4 Ted Lasso on @appleTV is gonna be a dooooozyyyy, as our mustachioed companion would say. See you all up Nelson Road! Long live AFC Richmond!”

The speculation appears to have stemmed from previous comments Waddingham made to Variety, in which she jokingly described an “ongoing love-hate relationship” with Sudeikis regarding his tendency to rewrite scripts on the fly.
“There’s always going to be a bit of give and take within a scene, because of the nature of how Sudeikis works,” Waddingham noted. “He hears it in the room, and then we tweak. With that boy, you’ve got to roll with the punches. He and I have an ongoing love-hate relationship that he changes it last minute.”
