A tragic single-vehicle accident claimed the life of a Hartselle teenager on Saturday morning in Morgan County.
Details of the Crash
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, 19-year-old Wenceslao Gonzalez Arroyo was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck when the vehicle exited the roadway. The truck subsequently overturned and struck a tree at approximately 1 a.m.
The incident occurred on Hopewell Road near Alabama 36, situated roughly three miles southwest of Hartselle. Authorities confirmed that Arroyo was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene.
