One of Alabama's biggest annual music fest's had to reschedule, but you still have fun options on the calendar.
If you were counting down the days to Rock the South, the news of its postponement to October might sting. However, the Alabama event calendar is still packed with plenty of action to keep your weekend exciting from Friday through Sunday.
Live Music Across the State
The Alabama Shakes are back on home turf tonight, June 12. The Grammy-winning band takes the stage at the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater in Tuscaloosa, with The Secret Sisters opening at 7:30 p.m. Gates open at 6:30 p.m., and tickets remain available via mercedesbenzamphitheater.com. This performance serves as a warm-up for the group before they head to the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. It has been a triumphant return for the band since reuniting in 2024.
Down on the coast, Zach Top brings his tour to The Wharf Amphitheater in Orange Beach for back-to-back shows this Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available for Friday and Saturday.
