The fatal wreck took place on Sunday morning at approximately 7:01 a.m. The incident occurred on Alabama 22, situated roughly one mile west of Selma.
Investigation Underway
According to Trooper Sgt. Reginal King, Jackson was operating a Toyota 4Runner when the vehicle left the roadway. The vehicle struck both a guardrail and a bridge, subsequently catching fire. Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the crash, Jackson’s body was transported to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for official identification. Alabama State Troopers are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
