Fast-food chain brings back menu item for first time in 15 years
The item returns nationwide Tuesday.
Get ready for a blast from the past. Burger King is officially bringing its beloved Crown Nuggets back to the menu nationwide for the first time since 2011. The return is part of a nostalgic push by the fast-food chain, as reported by 205focus.com.
Creativity Meets Comfort Food
The excitement doesn't stop with the nuggets. Starting June 9, Burger King is launching a special Crayola-themed King Jr. Meal. Each meal is designed to turn lunch or dinner into an interactive experience, featuring a co-branded 4-pack of Crayola crayons along with a custom colorable crown and meal bag.
Grab Them While They Last
Starting this Tuesday, you can order the iconic Crown Nuggets while supplies last. Fans can snag them as part of the $3.99 King Jr. Meal, which includes a side and a drink. For those looking for a larger serving, 8-piece orders are also available.
"We’ve been committed to creating awesome experiences for the whole family and listening to our Guests, and bringing back our Crown Nuggets allows us to do both of those things," said Joel Yashinsky, Chief Marketing Officer for Burger King US&C. "And, by partnering with Crayola, the brand known for inspiring creativity and imagination to generations of families, we’ve created a King Jr. Meal experience that brings more fun and interaction to mealtime for Guests of all ages."
