Fox pregame show to take place in London for the first time
For the first time ever, London, England will be the setting for a college football game.
College football is set to make history this season as Fox Sports brings its premier pregame show, Big Noon Saturday, to London, England, for the very first time. As reported by 205focus.com, the broadcast will take place live from Wembley Stadium to spotlight the matchup between Kansas and Arizona State.
A Global Stage for Big 12 Football
This historic broadcast marks the first time Fox’s signature pregame program will air from outside the United States. The star-studded crew featuring Rob Stone, Urban Meyer, Mark Ingram II, and Brady Quinn will be on-site to cover the action for what is being billed as the “Union Jack Classic.”
The game is slated to take place at the iconic Wembley Stadium on Sept. 19, bringing live college football to a European audience.
Expanding the Reach of the Game
For Kansas head coach Lance Leipold, the trip represents a major milestone for his program. "We are thrilled to take Kansas football internationally to London for the 2026 Union Jack Classic," Leipold said in a statement. "This is a once in-a-lifetime opportunity for our student-athletes to travel and play internationally. We’re excited to be part of college football’s international growth in its infancy, as the sport continues to expand globally."
This international endeavor follows a trend for the Big 12, which continues to prioritize playing games outside the U.S. Last season, the conference held its 2025 season opener between Iowa State and Kansas State in Dublin, Ireland.
