How can I watch Miss Alabama 2026 pageant? Is there a livestream?

The search for the next Miss Alabama reaches its exciting conclusion this weekend in Birmingham. As reigning queen Emma Terry prepares to pass the torch, 45 contestants are gearing up for the final runway walk. Whether you are a pageant superfan or looking to keep up with the latest news, here is everything you need to know about the 2026 festivities.

Event Details and Schedule

The big finale takes place on Saturday, June 6, at Samford University’s Wright Center, located at 872 Montague Drive. The main event kicks off at 7 p.m. CT. If you have been following the action since Wednesday, June 3, you know the intensity has been building through preliminary rounds held earlier this week, alongside a packed schedule of interviews, rehearsals, and a golf tournament.

Is There a Way to Watch Online?

If you were hoping to stream the event from home, you are unfortunately out of luck. The Miss Alabama finals are not being televised, and there is no livestream available on Pageants Live or any other digital platform. The Miss America organization will be providing updates via their Facebook page, and you can also track news through the official Miss Alabama Instagram page.

Attend in Person

The only way to witness the crowning moment live is to head to the Wright Center. Doors open at 6 p.m. and tickets for Saturday night are available for $69.58 to $80.13. You can meet the 45 women competing for the title here.

A Modern Competition

The competition continues to evolve, maintaining the shift away from the traditional swimsuit portion—a change eliminated at the national level in 2018 and followed by Alabama in 2019, as previously reported. Today, candidates instead participate in a health and fitness segment featuring activewear.

Scholarships and the Path to Miss America

Beyond the glamour, the event serves as a major platform for academic and professional advancement. This year, the pageant is awarding $152,775 in total scholarships, with the new Miss Alabama taking home a $15,000 award. The winner will immediately begin a year of service, ranging from charity work to public appearances and student outreach.

The newly crowned queen will also advance to compete for the title of Miss America, scheduled for Aug. 28-Sept. 6 in West Palm Beach, Florida. Alabama has a storied history on the national stage, boasting four previous winners: Yolande Betbeze (1950), Heather Whitestone (1994), Deidre Downs (2004), and Abbie Stockard (2025).
