Morgan Wallen certainly knows how to play to his crowd. During his “Still The Problem” tour stops at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium this past Friday and Saturday, the country superstar brought out some heavy hitters to help him take the stage in Gainesville, Florida.

Gainesville Royalty Joins the Walkout

Wallen, a die-hard Tennessee fan, enlisted the help of two Florida Gators legends for his signature walkout tradition. Both Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow and national championship coach Steve Spurrier took turns escorting the singer toward the stage at the sold-out venue.

While Wallen was more than happy to sport Gators gear for the occasion, he made his loyalties clear when it came time for the iconic Gator Chomp. As captured in the tour footage, the Vols superfan politely declined to participate in the gesture, proving he has to draw the line somewhere.

A Growing Concert Tradition

This walkout spectacle has become a staple of Wallen’s stadium performances. As “Broadway Girls” blasts over the stadium speakers, concertgoers watch on the big screens as Wallen is accompanied by high-profile local guests. The tradition follows a similar theme seen earlier in the tour, where Wallen was joined by former Alabama coach Nick Saban at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa.

The tour has featured a variety of sports icons throughout its run. Fans may remember the show at Neyland Stadium, where Peyton Manning famously joined Wallen on stage in a full Tennessee Volunteer uniform for the first time since his 1997 college finale. The tour’s kickoff in Minneapolis saw former Minnesota Vikings star Jared Allen and former Twins catcher Joe Mauer take on the walkout duties as well.
