State champion, runner-up dominate Class 4A boys soccer All-State team

The AHSAA Class 4A boys soccer landscape was dominated by the state's top two programs this season, as coaches’ votes reflect in the 2026 All-State team. State champion Westminster-Oak Mountain and runner-up Mars Hill Bible each placed five standout players across the first and second teams.

Westminster-Oak Mountain’s impressive showing is headlined by four first-team selections. Senior goalkeeper Sam Carter, who earned state tournament most valuable player honors, leads the group. He is joined on the first team by midfielders Jacob Dover and Rocco Zaccagni, along with senior defender Davis Jones. Junior defender Owen Kelly earned a spot on the second team.

Mars Hill Bible remains well-represented with three first-team stars: junior forward Kalen Bingham, junior midfielder Dylan Blackburn, and senior defender Parker Kennemer. Panthers junior midfielder Edward Mann and junior goalkeeper Jesse Parker secured second-team honors.

Elsewhere across the classification, Hamilton and White Plains each placed three athletes on the first team, while St. Luke’s rounded out the top tier with two first-teamers and two second-team selections. The coaching excellence of the year was shared by St. John Paul II’s Jason Batchelor and Saint James’ Bob Polling, who were voted Co-Coaches of the Year.
