Walmart sets prices at 7-year lows for back-to-school shopping

As reported by Walmart in a recent press release, the retail giant is rolling out some of its lowest prices since 2019. The initiative focuses on the 14 most popular school supplies, with some items starting at just $0.25.
The retailer is also leaning into style, offering 1,300 additional Rollbacks compared to last year. Students can look forward to trending themes like the Butter aesthetic, K-Pop Demon Hunters merchandise, and premium Papier stationery for older students.
Budget-Friendly Solutions

With nearly 60 percent of surveyed consumers anticipating the economy will decline in the coming months, Walmart’s emphasis on value appears to be a direct response to a more cautious shopping climate.
