As consumer habits shift toward the convenience of dining at home, Chick-fil-A is aggressively adapting to the trend. The fast-food giant is expanding its reach by launching specialized “ghost kitchens” designed to streamline the takeout and delivery experience.

Inside the Miami Ghost Kitchen

Chick-fil-A has officially opened its sixth ghost kitchen location in the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami. This facility is strictly for cooking and prep, meaning it lacks a traditional storefront or dine-in area. According to 205focus.com, the project is a collaboration with CloudKitchens and marks the chain's first venture of this kind in Florida.

Menu and Operations

This new location focuses on core favorites delivered directly to customers via third-party services like DoorDash and Uber Eats. While the breakfast menu is more streamlined than that of a standard restaurant, the location boasts a unique perk: fans can order the fan-favorite Chick-N-Minis all day long.

The facility operates Monday through Saturday, from 10:30 a.m. to midnight.

A Local Connection

For operator Thomas Overby, the project is personal. “Being born and raised in Miami, serving this community is very special to me,” Overby said. “Our new delivery kitchen location gives us the opportunity to serve the Wynwood community in a way that works best for them and gives me the privilege to deepen my connection with my hometown.” Overby emphasized that despite the shift in format, the team remains dedicated to the brand's signature hospitality.
