Four Auburn baseball players earn All-SEC honors

After a competitive 17-13 run through SEC play, four members of the Auburn baseball squad have secured postseason recognition. The league’s head coaches finalized their votes on Monday, rewarding a quartet of Tigers for their stellar contributions on the diamond.

Rembert Leads the Way

Sophomore standout Chris Rembert headlined the group, earning a spot on the All-SEC First Team. Rembert served as a reliable engine for the Auburn offense, hitting .349—the second-highest average on the team—to go along with four home runs and 42 RBI. This selection marks back-to-back years of conference honors for Rembert, who was named to the All-SEC Second Team in 2025.

Second Team and All-Freshman Honors

The Tigers also placed two athletes on the All-SEC Second Team: first baseman Ethin Bingaman and left-handed pitcher Jackson Sanders. Bingaman wasted no time making an impact as a freshman, hitting .333 with 10 home runs and 41 RBI. His team-leading 49 runs scored helped him also secure a well-deserved place on the SEC All-Freshman Team.

Sanders proved to be a versatile weapon on the mound. After starting the season in the weekend rotation, he transitioned into a high-leverage role in the bullpen. The lefty was a dominant force, finishing the regular season with an impressive 2.79 ERA and racking up 80 strikeouts across 58 innings.

Elite Defensive Recognition

Rounding out the honors, third baseman Eric Guevara was named to the SEC All-Defensive Team for the second consecutive season. Boasting a stellar .962 fielding percentage in 2026, Guevara made history as Auburn's first back-to-back selection for the All-Defensive squad since the award's inception in 2008.
