General Motors Defense LLC has secured a major win with the U.S. Army, landing a contract worth nearly $143 million. Based out of Warren, Michigan, the company will supply an undisclosed number of infantry squad vehicles (ISV) alongside specialized winch kits.
Proven Performance on the Field
The Infantry Squad Vehicle is engineered to transport up to nine soldiers, offering high adaptability and maintenance efficiency. The platform is built on the foundation of the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 pick-up, providing the off-road capability necessary for modern combat environments.
Contract Details
According to a Pentagon notice posted Thursday, the Army selected GM after a competitive bidding process that saw three companies vie for the award. The contract, managed by the Army Contracting Command at the Detroit Arsenal in Michigan, is scheduled to run through June 24, 2027.
