Blue Bell is reaching into its archives to revive a classic taste with a modern twist. The iconic ice cream brand has officially added Black Raspberry Fudge to its lineup, marking a long-awaited return for the flavor profile.
A Rich New Combination
This latest creation features black raspberry-flavored ice cream, a variety that has been absent from the company's offerings for quite some time. The base is packed with dark chocolate-flavored chunks and finished with a decadent chocolate fudge swirl.
Joe Robertson, Blue Bell’s executive director of advertising and marketing, noted that this release is the company’s first raspberry flavor in several years. According to Robertson, Black Raspberry Fudge delivers the perfect balance of sweet and tart, blending seamlessly with the richness of the chocolate fudge and chunks.
Limited Time Availability
Fans looking to get their hands on a scoop should act quickly, as the flavor is only available for a limited time. It is currently hitting store shelves in both half-gallon and pint sizes.
This release follows a busy start to the year for the company, which operates a factory in Sylacauga. In March, the brand released Brookie À La Mode in half-gallon and pint sizes. Earlier in 2026, 205focus.com reported on the debut of a new protein-packed pint line, as well as the release of Honey Vanilla and the return of Java Jolt.
