Popular pizza restaurant opens north Alabama location

North Alabama is getting a serious upgrade in the pizza department. Power Brands Hospitality Group has officially brought the iconic Grimaldi’s Pizzeria to Clift Farm, located at 461 John Henry Way, Suite 850, in Madison.

A Brooklyn Classic Comes to Madison

The new outpost is the third Grimaldi’s in Alabama and the 45th to open nationwide, bringing the brand's signature coal-fired brick-oven style to local diners. Spanning 3,940 square feet, the restaurant is designed with a classic New York aesthetic, featuring handcrafted wine bottle chandeliers, black-and-white photography, and enough seating to accommodate up to 179 guests. For those planning larger events, a private party room is available to hold up to 40 people.

Expansion and Community Growth

The decision to land in Madison was strategic, according to Michael Flaum, COO of Grimaldi’s Pizzeria. He noted that the team has long eyed Clift Farm for its vibrant, community-focused environment. This expansion follows the successful introduction of the brand to the Huntsville market by Power Brands Hospitality Group in 2022. Kumar Patel, managing partner at the group, emphasized that the team is eager to keep growing alongside the North Alabama community.

What’s on the Menu

At the heart of the experience is the legendary, coal-fired pizza. Using a proprietary dough recipe and fresh mozzarella, the kitchen sticks to time-honored Brooklyn techniques. Beyond the pizza and calzones, guests can grab a variety of starters, salads, and the restaurant’s famous New York-style cheesecake.

Don’t Miss the Stoking Social Hour

If you're looking for a deal, Grimaldi’s is offering its Stoking Social Hour seven days a week from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. During this time, dine-in guests can take advantage of $10 signature cocktails, $10 off bottles of wine, $3 off salads and starters, and $2 off beer, wine, mocktails, sangria, and spritzes.
