Country music star responds to allegations he used AI for latest song

Luke Bryan is firing back at critics who claim his latest track was generated using artificial intelligence. Since the release of his song “Fish Hunt Golf Drink” last month, the country superstar has faced vocal backlash from fans online.

Setting the Record Straight

Bryan addressed the speculation directly during a recent appearance at a golf pro-am. Speaking with NBC4, the singer dismissed the rumors entirely. “We’ve had some negativity out there. Some trolls kinda saying that I ‘AI’ed it, which is completely false,” Bryan stated. He emphasized that the project was purely personal, adding, “That song was designed for one thing. To have fun and tell the world what I love to do and what I strive to do.”

The song’s writers, Chase McGill and Matt Dragstrem, echoed these sentiments while speaking to Rolling Stone. They confirmed that the track was crafted without any artificial assistance, noting, “It’s not rocket science, but it’s true to who Luke is.”

Crash My Playa 2027

In other news, Bryan is gearing up for the 12th annual Crash My Playa, which is scheduled for Jan. 13-16, 2027, at Moon Palace Cancún in Mexico. Produced by 100x Hospitality, the four-day event will feature headliners Thomas Rhett and HARDY.

The star-studded lineup continues with performances from Brothers Osborne, Gavin Adcock, Brett Young, Avery Anna, Drew Baldridge, Emily Ann Roberts, Lanie Gardner, and DJ Rock. Fans can also look forward to perennial event favorites, including Dustin Lynch’s Pool Party and a closing-night set featuring Luke Bryan and Friends.
