South Alabama football adds 2 JUCO offensive linemen for 2026
Jaguars have signed 4 newcomers since end of spring practice
South Alabama is aggressively reloading its 2026 roster, securing commitments from two junior-college offensive linemen to bolster the trenches. Naol Andarge and Andre Woods have both joined the Jaguars program this week, marking a significant step in addressing depth concerns.
New Faces on the Offensive Line
Naol Andarge, a 6-foot-7, 300-pound lineman arriving from Garden City (Kan.) Community College, brings a unique athletic background to the team. Originally from Virginia, the prospect transitioned to football just two years ago after previously focusing on basketball. His collegiate path included a stop at the University of Fort Lauderdale, a National Christian College Athletic Association program, before landing in Kansas.
Joining him is Prattville native Andre Woods, a 6-foot-3, 330-pound interior presence who spent the last two seasons at East Central (Miss.) Community College. Woods redshirted in 2024 and enters the South Alabama program with three years of eligibility remaining.
Addressing Roster Needs
The additions come at a vital time for the Jaguars, who faced a depleted offensive line following the conclusion of spring practice. With four starters departing for the transfer portal, South Alabama finished the spring with only nine healthy linemen on the roster. While right tackle Ethan Hubbard and guard/center Kenton Jerido return as anchors from the 2025 campaign, coaches are bracing for open competition at almost every position heading into the fall.
Expanding the 2026 Class
Andarge and Woods represent half of the four newcomers added to the squad since the end of spring drills. According to 205focus.com, the coaching staff has also bolstered the defensive side of the ball with the arrivals of FCS transfer linebacker Christian Ross from Holy Cross and junior-college transfer linebacker KD DeGraffenreid, who also joins the Jaguars from Garden City.
