Rock The South 2026 postponed: When are the new dates?

Country music fans counting down the days to the debut of Rock The South at its new Decatur, Alabama location will have to exercise a bit more patience. Festival organizers officially announced a postponement for the event due to saturated site conditions caused by significant recent rainfall.

New Dates and Expanded Schedule

Originally slated to run from Thursday through Saturday, the festival has been rescheduled to a new window of October 1 – 4. The postponement comes with a silver lining: the event is expanding from three days to four. Organizers stated that the heavy rainfall at the event grounds left them no choice but to push the dates back to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees, artists, and staff.

"We are thankful that the headliners are available for the new dates and appreciate the patience and support of all involved as we look to put on a great Rock the South later this year," organizers said in a statement.

Lineup and Ticket Details

The core of the Rock The South lineup remains intact. Zach Top is set for Thursday, October 1, Jason Aldean follows on Friday, October 2, and Alabama native Riley Green will close the show on Sunday, October 4. Additionally, breakout star Jessie Murph, previously scheduled to support Green, will now headline her own day on Saturday, October 3, at no extra cost to current ticket holders.

Organizers plan to release an updated daily schedule in the coming weeks. For those unable to attend the new dates, instructions regarding refunds will be sent to ticket holders via email next week. Fans are encouraged to monitor the official festival website for the latest updates.
