Family and Youth Events

Avondale’s Got Talent!: Show off your skills or support local performers at the Avondale Library on Tuesday, June 30, from 6 to 7 p.m. Make sure to register in advance.

Hula Hoop and an Ice Cream Scoop: Head to the Pratt City Branch Library on Tuesday, June 30, from 1-2 p.m. for a sweet treat and some hula hooping fun.

Rap It Up!: Kids can drop bars or recite poetry at the Five Points West Regional Branch Library on Tuesday, July 21, from 3-4 p.m. Learn more about this showcase here.

Bubbles, Sun and Fun: Bring a towel to the Springville Road Regional Branch Library on Tuesday, July 28, from 10-11 a.m. for some outdoor water play and bubbles.

Adult Programs and Wellness

Fitness & Movement: The North Birmingham Regional Branch Library keeps the community active with Slide City Chair Aerobics (Wednesdays through Fridays, 9:30-10 a.m.) and The Morning Lineup line dancing (Fridays, 10-11 a.m.).

Breakfast Bingo: Enjoy a morning meal and a chance to win prizes at the North Birmingham Regional Branch Library. Games are held on the second, fourth, and fifth Monday of each month from 10-11 a.m.
