Top 10-ranked kicker recaps official visit to Auburn

Auburn football has secured a major commitment for the future. Following a highly successful official visit to the Plains over the weekend, elite kicker Noah Ash announced his commitment to the Tigers on Monday.

A Perfect Fit on the Plains

Hailing from Ponte Vedra High School in Florida, Ash noted that the weekend experience exceeded his already high expectations. While he had previously visited for Junior Day, this official trip provided a deeper look at the program's trajectory and the culture being cultivated under the current staff.

A significant portion of his time was dedicated to working with special teams coordinator Jacob Bronowski. Ash credited the staff with giving him a clear roadmap of what it takes to succeed as an Auburn Tiger.

Buying Into the Vision

Ash spoke glowingly about his time with head coach Alex Golesh, highlighting a clear shift in the program's identity. Regarding the recent changes, Ash remarked, "I think it was a big culture change, obviously, with Coach Golesh coming in. I think he’s definitely turning it around. Discipline here is on a way higher level, and again, it’s just something to watch out for."

An Elite Leg

Recognized as the seventh-best kicker in the 2027 class by Kohl’s Kicking, Ash brings a massive advantage to the Auburn special teams unit. His Kohl’s profile highlights him as possessing the strongest kickoff leg in the country.

Despite receiving offers from prestigious programs including Florida State, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Vanderbilt, Ash is locked in on his future at Auburn. While he maintains a competitive mindset about seeing the field early, he is fully committed to the process of earning his spot.

"Definitely, year one, I can make an impact on the field. Obviously, that comes with me having to put in the work on and off the field," Ash said. "If that means I have to sit one year, I’m willing to sit one year, but again, I’m trying to come make an impact."

With his decision made, Ash is ready to help build on the momentum Golesh has established. "Auburn’s a great school, great program," Ash said, "and the new head coach coming in, it’s gonna be even better."
