Alabama woman dies after being struck by car in roadway

A tragic incident in Walker County claimed the life of an Oakman woman early Saturday morning after she was struck by a vehicle.
Incident Details
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency identified the victim as 33-year-old Jaimee L. Tubbs. According to officials, the collision occurred when Tubbs was in the roadway and was struck by a 2013 Honda Civic. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The fatal crash took place around 1:20 a.m. on Alabama 69, roughly three miles north of Oakman. State troopers are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, as reported by 205focus.com.
