A true Alabama culinary staple is coming to a menu near you. A fast food favorite with deep roots in our state is teaming up with an iconic brand to bring a beloved Alabama food to its lineup, and residents along the Gulf Coast are getting an exclusive opportunity to snag a taste for just a buck.

New Menu Addition

Jack’s Family Restaurants is rolling out their brand-new hickory-smoked Conecuh sausage dogs at locations system-wide this week. Hungry diners can look forward to a full meal deal featuring two of these dogs, a serving of fries, and a pie to round out the experience.

How to snag yours for $1

While the new item officially hits most menus on Wednesday, May 20, 205focus.com has confirmed that select locations are hosting a special early access event. According to reports from WKRG, you can grab one for just $1 on Tuesday, May 19, between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

This Tuesday deal is available at the following locations: Atmore, Thomasville, Jackson, Citronelle, Loxley, East Brewton, Creola, Leakesville, and Milton.

A Legacy of Growth

It has been quite a journey for the chain, which first opened as a simple walk-up hamburger stand back in 1960. More than six decades later, the brand has expanded significantly from its Alabama origins, now operating locations across Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas.
